As you know September is Recovery Month and throughout the month Ballymun Recovery hosts a range of events and activities to Celebrate Recovery, Make Recovery Visible, Challenge Stigma and Promote treatment options.

Yesterday seen the launch of Recovery Month 2021 with video from Minister for Public Health, Well Being & the National Drugs Strategy Frank Feighan and some of our community partners which you can see here

There is variety of activities over the month both in person and online, both locally and in partnership with other communities. Tonight the 3rd Ballymun Does Recovery Gig will stream on Axis Ballymun Facebook & Youtube.

Tomorrow we have a Community Ties event which will launch a bigger project for 2022 and if you could join us on the Plaza at 11am that would be great. On Saturday the Recovery Run will start in Ballymun and go via Finglas to Drimnagh and there are almost 70 people registered from across Dublin. Look out for the Womens Café video on Social Media over the next few days.
