Project Description

Programme Priority 5: Transition towards a socially inclusive and resilient society (Access to Employment)

Specific Objective 4.1: Enhancing the effectiveness and inclusiveness of labour markets and access to quality employment through developing social infrastructure and promoting social economy.

The Terremplo project will develop an inter-regional strategy to improve co-operation between public VET/FET providers and employment services through inter-agency collaboration. We aim to connect and sustain collective innovation networks with a view to preparing social, digital and environmental transitions, targeting young people not in Employment, Education or Training NEET. Our strategy considers the development of entrepreneurial competences and enhanced access to quality employment.

The partnership of the Terremplo project consists of the following organisations:

Ballymun Job Centre Cooperative Society Ltd, in Dublin, Ireland, supports job seekers and assists them to access employment and training, identify their skills, interests and potential in the labour market.

Mission Locale Picardie Maritime in France MLPM provides support in the social and professional integration journey of young people aged 16 to 25. It also houses a Local Plan for Insertion and Employment (PLIE) and a House for Employment and Training (MEEF).

Centre IFAPME Liège-Huy-Verviers (Centre IFAPME LHV) is a multi-sectoral vocational training centre located in the Province of Liège (Belgium), the largest VET Centre in the Belgian French Speaking Community within the IFAPME network with more than 20.000 learners.

Le Cube Consultants, in Le Mans, France is a young innovative company born out of university research, social innovation, and the need for territorial development.

Each partner organisation works in the fields of youth, integration, vocational training, access to employment, as well as local economic development and social innovation. The expected results in the Terremplo project will benefit from the overall added value generated by the skills, know-how, processes, tools, and expertise produced by the consortium members.

To develop a joint strategy to improve inter-agency collaboration to better address the needs of young people NEET, including young women and people with disabilities. Those target groups with barriers to access the labour market and formal education programmes, will benefit from transnational co-operative models connecting services usually provided separately, including entrepreneurial approaches and collective skills development in the territories.

We will ensure active engagement of each partner and target groups in Dublin, Ireland; Wallonia, Belgium and Picardie Maritime and Pays de la Loire, France through an experimental and participatory co-design and writing of the strategy, with concrete action plans to implement and transfer innovation within the regions.

Our project will facilitate the adaptation, commitment and capitalization of the best practices, by partners and stakeholders including Employment services, VET providers, Youth organisations and innovation agencies.
